I was almost the same. Only had been with one other girl before I met my ex my freshman year in college. Then I got divorced in my 30s. It has been a wild ride ever since.

Checking in. Have had only one sexual partner, and she's my wife. We didn't have sex until our wedding night.
On one hand, I'm glad to know that my only real definition of sex is known through my wife. It does make it a little extra special to me, I think.
On the other hand, it sucks that I grew up in a fearful, oppressive environment that treated sex as a negative act and led to me being clueless when it came to dating girls. It took until my 2nd year of college when I had been on my own enough to start feeling more comfortable about it.

Buddy of mine has only had one, his now wife. They started dating in HS where she was a major hoe, ended up breaking up for about a year at one point and she took anything that came her way, he didn’t. Got back together and they’re married now with two kids and he’s completely miserable. So there’s that.

I’m Mrs itneverrains first and last. Saw marriage material immediately, got my affairs in order (pun intended) and locked it down ASAP. That was 22 years ago, no ragrets.

Agree. I don’t think it makes my marriage any less vulnerable to the other pitfalls of life but it does make the intimacy portion a little more special, I think.

Wife and I were both virgins, sex was disappointing the first couple years. Neither of us had much of a clue, it hurt, etc.
After we had our first child it got better, second child better, 3rd child better. Been together 18 years and the sex is better than ever.
