Anyone here gone viral on Tik Tok?

My kids convinced me to download Tik Tok the other night. Other than seeing Tik Toks shared on Twitter or Facebook every now and then, I didn't really understand the app. I deleted the app today. It's not really for me. Here are some observations after a few days though.
1. Redneck/baw culture LOVES this app. Lot of good ole boys telling corny jokes, playing pranks on their wives, making sure we get a glimpse of their 96-month note truck, etc.
2. People are obsessed with going viral, moreso than on other social media platforms.
3. For every funny Tik Tok, you have to scroll through 5-10 stupid ones. This may just be an inadequate algorithm on a new account. I didn't follow any users, nor like any Tik Toks, so not sure how it decided which ones to throw at me.
4. I now see how easy it is to sit on this app for an hour-plus without even realizing it.
Yes, this is a worthless thread, but aren't they all?

People who like to have fun?
On FB I share pictures of my life for family mainly for them to see my child.
I don't post on tiktok but love it. I'm ready for the year end so I can get back to practicing my sweet moves.

It was definitely the most shocking thing. Like every other one was like a guy I went to high school with that still lives in our hometown and works for the power company. I assumed it was all gen z kids.

A lady I used to work with, her teen daughter created a tik toc dance that went viral and she ended up in a music video. Has over a million followers now and making money from it.

There is some legit funny stuff on there but I deleted it about a month before the election when it turned into nothing but teenage girls telling me how terrible Trump is and how he is destroying their lives
