I don't go by but I'm a three name person.
For instance, when I am called in a public setting. Like oh look, there's John Wilkes Booth.
Except it's more like.
Oh look, it's Wiltmont Kennsington Paxworthy Esquire etc etc...

I'm a third. My father and grandfather both went by their first name. I actually prefer the middle name to the first name. We named my son a IV. We are calling him a shortened version of his first name.
