I figure Alabama is heading that way in the near future.

If I cant work, might as well get some jobs done around the house, but I'll need materials.

Trying to decide if I should go ahead and try and get them now.

I think I read where they are considered an essential business.

Haven't fact checked this, but heard that Home Depot is essentially restricting access to the store. They have a worker out front that's taking your order and having it picked for curbside pickup.

Be prepared to know what you need /what to call it

I imagine Lowes and Home Depot are good stock to buy right now.

A lot of home projects about to get worked on

That would take forever. Those workers have no idea where anything is in those stores.

Limited access. There was a long wait yesterday. Shorter hours as well.

Went by Lowes Saturday to pick up a few things for a job and it was a madhouse, especially the home and garden area.

They shouldn't. They're going to make a killing with all of the things people will be doing around the house.

I went to Lowes after the announcement yesterday. Place was loaded with people. Not a parking spot to be found anywhere.

Was at HD yesterday and there were a lot of people there. They changed their hours slightly but that's all.

I have to use the damn app and write down aisle/bay numbers ahead of time. Saves me a half mile of walking.

The mayor of NOLA said they are staying open. Named dropped Home Depot specifically.

Good idea. As a teacher, I've been working from home since Friday, March 13th. Between doing the online teaching stuff, I've knocked out a tone of projects in the yard and started on stuff in the house. Did it withe stuff I had on hand, though. As someone who takes immuno-suppressants daily, I haven't ventured out to places with people hardly at all after getting necessary supplies the first day or two.
