If you're going for all in one row a full size pickup will have the largest rear seat of any vehicle you can buy

I made a thread a couple days ago asking about expeditions. To answer your question the Tahoe/Expedition will fit three car seats across the second row if it’s bench seats.

On another note, we decided to get the van. I have five kids, one infant, so I’m a little different than you. But one of the things I hadn’t thought about was lifting the infant higher into the vehicle if it was a Tahoe/expedition. Also, the cost. I fought it HARD!!! But the correct economical choice is the van right now. Same if not more person and cargo room. Plus easier to help if your little ones need it getting in and out of car seats. Good luck man. I hate it for you!!

Get a van. No question about it. A, they drive better than SUV's. B, they are way more convenient. C, when you're in a parking lot, those sliding doors make a big difference. It ain't easy getting those kids out of the vehicle and you need both sides to do it, and the sliding door not only give you a wider egress point, but you don't have to worry about the doors hitting the car next to you. It's more than just a question of whether the seats will fit.

You're the parent of triplets. A lot of shite is going to change for you. You are going to be the center of attention. Don't worry about looking cool. You'll be lucky if you are able to shave.

Get the van. There are going to be times when you won't want to put them all right next to each other. The van has extra room so one parent can sit back with the kids on road trips and have easy access to all of the kids. The van has a lot more room to carry all the diapers, food, toys, porta-cribs, etc, that you will need.

Also, get a hitch on your van and get a 3 seat stroller that attaches to your hitch outside of the van. You will need the inside room for the above mentioned stuff.

Suck it up. You're now playing zone press and not man-to-man. You need all of the help you can get and a van is by far and away the easiest option.

ETA: Oh yeah, congratulations...

We’ve had 3 in car seats since Jan 2017. Obviously 3 in the van fits easy. I have 3 across in my accord. Diono makes steel slim car seats. Expensive but that are very narrow for smaller cars. And heavy as frick

Nice thing about having triplets is that you can park whatever vehicle you end up with inside their mother’s vagarage.

Only one thing to do. Expand your practice, open an Xfit gym, start a podcast, profit, buy a Bentley with a chauffeur.

Theoretically you can fit 3 on the second row of a Pilot but it tends to be a very bad idea, especially if one or more kids are in a baby car seat or the bulkier infant ones rather than a backed shoulder belt one intended for kids around the 5-6 year old range.

I have three in the middle row of a Pilot now and it’s working out ok. Two are in smaller infant seats now though so I’m not sure how it will work out with 3 full size seats.
