That's probably why she kept buying them.. "he always has them on when he comes over"..

If the mods actually upheld that rule, he would’ve been banned a long time ago. Clearly they don’t.

I dont really ask for or let it be known I desire a gift.

Call it a personality trait or disorder

Do me a favor. Prove to me that this thread is the worst thread on the front page right now.

Down in Abbeville some 20 years ago a high school graduate asked for a Corvette and his parents gave him a small gift instead. He came home and shot both of them fatally. What he did not know is they had bought him the Corvette and we’re planning to give it to him at the end of the week

Had a nephew this past weekend tell me "thanks for nothing" because we got him some Xbox gift cards instead of Fortnite gift cards. Snatched that shite right out of his hand, found his mom, and told her the deal. The bitch sided with her damn son right there in front of me. Apparently telling her it was no surprise her kid is such a garbage person wasnt the correct response. Wife is still pissed and so is some of her family except most of the men.

Had it been my own sister I wouldve clocked her in the ear

ETA- Now have $65 in Microsoft cash burning a hole in my virtual wallet

A relative texted me about a week ago and the text said:

“What size hoodie does FTW wear?”

To which I was confused. Then she immediately texted back, and said “oh man, I meant to send that to someone else about you!”

Now I’m the kind of baw who wears gym shorts and a t-shirt in those 19 degree Louisiana days. I will sit in a deer stand on the verge of hypothermia not wearing any warm clothes.

So she followed up with: “so what size do you wear?”

So Wednesday when my humongous family gets together for a great meal, I am going to have to smile through getting a hoodie I do not want

My Sister always sends gifts for Christmas to my nephew (even though he is Jewish). Quite a few years ago, she packed up a box of gifts for him, and just as a throw in, she gave him this Calvin Klein backpack that she got as a free gift with a purchase of some cologne.

When he received the gifts he called to thank my sister. After he was done, he gave the phone to his mother, who proceeded to tell my sister that she knew this backpack was a free gift with purchase of the cologne, and that she would like for her to send the cologne to him as well.

My kid: “Thanks! I have another one just like it!”

He didn’t mean to be rude. Gift etiquette is awkward for kids.
