To show you how fricking bullshite the 2015 will being thrown out is, here is Brandt in 2018 at Argos with his granddaughter.

Question - who pays the Rummel principals legal fees now that he lost the case and does not have control of the estate? Will be be personally liable?

Not arguing the merits of the case either way. Just wondered what happens if you are an executor in a disputed will.

think in other states, you can take a 2 day class and become a notary. That's not the case here in LA.

A 22 year old at UPS notarized my divorce papers in California. Cost me $10.

Not really. Trustee of trust or executor of the estate.

Updated Story:

LINK

Including this gem between Mrs. Brandt and the Rummel principal:

quote:

Jessica Brandt said the dispute has only ripped apart what once was a close bond.

She and Milano were “best friends” for years, she said, describing herself as his “biggest cheerleader” and a tireless fundraiser for the Rummel principal, who arrived in 2015.

“I’m not talking about sitting in a chair sipping a cocktail. I was stirring pots and walking around selling 50/50 tickets, anything I could to help Marc, raise him in the community, the principal that was going to take Rummel back to its days of glory,” she said.

“He and I had a thing. Every time we’d hang up, he’d say, ‘I love you,’ and I’d say, ‘Most.’ And we never hung up without saying that. So I don’t know where it went wrong. I truly do not.”

Also, the grandkids were getting a 20K a month allowance, each.

Someone could write a story about this.

Am I reading this right, the wife is the one with the children, and she is evicting them?

The article I read said that Milano and Ray were duck hunting buddies. The wife claims that her biggest objection with the new will was that it gave Milano control over all of Brandt’s businesses even though he has no business background.

Could one of esteemed OT lawyers discuss whether the marital assets were considered “community property” co-owned by the wife?

Would depend on whether there was a pre-nup or post-nup in play. Way too many variables to speculate

I'm curious what the wife's qualification are to run the business.

I'm surprised that the will doesn't call for a succession plan for who would actually run the business.
