If you have a problem with me, say it to my face (after giving me your leftovers in your to-go box please).

This is a very misguided, ill informed, single-minded take on Bridge House, and what they do.

I’ve got brand new tires on it. 04 suburban. Wondering if they do good work and give a fair value

You're wrong. Bridge House is legit. They have saved a lot of lives.

I've never given a car to it but I donate money to it annually.

You’re better off sending it to the salvage yard. Get cash in your hand.

With the new standard deductions of 24k for a family of two, you won’t be seeing anything.

Or you can just run it into a canal and get the insurance proceeds.

I have. The guy that started it was a car dealer in New Orleans and was a retreat master at Manresa one of my years and was phenomenal. They got into buying and selling cars as well as donations to raise funds because he knew how to do it. Pretty sure he died a few years ago.

They do good work and are worthy of the support.

Are you donating to do a good thing, or get a tax write off, or both? Because you have other options as well.

Guys, I don’t have a problem with bridge house. I donate clothes and furniture to them a lot.

I just assumed he was doing it for the tax write off. My free advice is legit.
