I'd live in Lake Chuck before Beaumont.

Even worse than Louisiana?

Worse than most of South LA, for sure. Beaumont always seemed like kind of like Louisiana if you squint while looking at it. It has almost all of the same drawbacks as LA but with none of the (already limited) redeeming qualities.

Not saying Beaumont is that great, but there are far worst places to live in Texas and Beaumont isn’t mentioned on that list.

Now I chose to live in Spring instead of the Woodlands.

Moved from Texas-Arizona-Charlotte NC-Baton Rouge-Spring.

Hopefully this is my last one but only being 44 there may be one left but I hope not. Hopefully my last move is to a place in the Hill Country.

Yeah I prefer my neighborhood over the Woodlands. Quick drive over to the woodlands but I’m on an acre and have the lowest tax rate that I could find anywhere around here.

Stayed there during the summers for 2-3 weeks as a kid. Loved it then, but wouldn't want to live there now.

Caught a lot of these

Y'all remember when Marty and Rust raided that housing project in Beaumont? That was some riveting damn television.

Isn’t that where almost all of the people who move in from Louisiana end up settling?

Good fishing in Port Arthur.

As much as Beaumont isn't exactly a desirable place, Louisiana would be smart to make that trade in a heartbeat.
