I definitely did.

Lost my job and was unemployed for a few months, lost one of my best friends in July, feel completely distant from a lot of my friends and family, and feel I didn't accomplish a lot of the things I wanted to accomplish.

Either way, it's a new day, new year, and new decade. Time to pick up the pieces and move on to the next one. We got this.

I actually had a pretty good 2019. But even in the bad years, you just have to keep grinding and have faith you’ll be ok. Hope 2020 is better to you

Financially, it was an extremely shitty year for me. Got into some debt, credit score dropped a bit. Lost job, spent couple months unemployed working random temp jobs. Car seemed like it was breaking down every month, etc. Lost 2 friends from college as well as a friend from high school.

Still thankful to be in another year. Im ready to get to work and change my fortunes around. I don't like the whole new year resolution thing but I am excited to get my life on track.

2019 was a really rough year for me. Failed IVF, all the issues with my mentally ill father, marital struggles. I let myself get pretty bitter and angry over it for a little bit.

Hoping 2020 is kinder. If not, hope I react better to it.

I can’t always avoid or prevent what happens to me....but I can control how I react to it.

2019 was almost as bad as all the other years.

Tomorrow is just the day after today regardless of what year it was or is.

This decade was definitely full of up and downs. 2019 was the first year where everything went my way. That being said, tomorrow is another day and today hasn't been decided yet. You've made it past rough times, you'll make it through others as well. You've had great days and those pass as well. Just enjoy the ride

The absolute worst year of my life. This coming from someone who lost his only brother in 2005 from cancer. Nothing in 2020 and beyond could make up for 2019. On March 11th I lost my 2 year 9 month old son. Lost him because a nurse and doctor believed they could play god to make some money. I'd like to smash 2019 with a fricking flame thrower.

Supremely crappy. Gained weight, screwed up relationships, didn’t fulfill my potential, and got older,

But it’s a new year and I’m not pushing daisies yet

Yeah, it wasn't the worst year of my life but it ended on a shitty leading indicator of where I am and where I'm headed. Not excited about 2020...

It was alright. Spent entirely too much time working and very little time having fun. Got my debt consolidated finally and made a shitton of progress getting it under control, but in doing so I spent less than a month at home. Sacrifice for future success...

It’s a cycle. It’s life, and it’s hard as hell. I had a good 2019, but 2018 almost killed me. Keep your head up. There’s always something around the corner. And people in your corner.

We joke a lot on here, but it truly is a supportive community. We want you to be well and live a long time... so we can chide or mock your arse when you’re old.

Wishing you a wonderful 2020. To quote the great Sam Mills, “Keep Pounding.”

Work-wise got through some difficult times with mostly wins but still huge questions on where things stand and the future with the realization that it’s time to move on despite being stable and well compensated at present am utterly stagnant and not in a strong position moving forward. So easy to feel negative but looking forward to hopefully a fresh start. Otherwise kids are doing great, good family health and happiness overall. So could be worse but time to focus on the next thing for next year.
