This. 100%. And regarding the dating a different race thing... there are a shite ton of black people that do not approve of blacks dating whites either. You never hear about them though. It’s always “racist white dad doesn’t want black guy dating his daughter.”

Twitter to blame?

Democrats and media to blame. They need identity politics to generate a public mantra since they stand for nothing economic or value based.

I started school in 1965 right after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and I have never seen race relations this bad. It started with Obama but was not that bad. He picked a couple national level scabs open like Ferguson Mo but this bunch that is in the media and the Dem Party now are nonstop with no end in sight.

My question is why does it bother some people to no end if some random person is racist?? I could give a frick less if some random black/Latino/asian person hates whites with a burning passion.

Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X Kendi are millionaires from telling white people that they are racists. Then they get people to pay them to tell them how to stop being racist.

Tiger droppings is no more racist than Black Twitter and any pro-black message board or comment section is.

Hate crimes due to racism had been on a downward trend since the 90s until 2019 when they spiked back to those levels

Typical NYC Yankee bullshite. This board isn't all that racist, and far more open and honest than most places you'll find on the net. And your shitty city is way more racist than anyplace I've been in the south.

This board isn't all that racist,

Given this board’s general commentary of black people and other minorities whose views on things do not fall in line with theirs, I strongly disagree.

You're one of the biggest racists on this board.

It's not a thing now. It is a control mechanism of the progressive left. Divide and conquer.

I was in high school back in 2005 in Nashville and remember we all had white and black friends. There were no racism issues in school or on the news that I remember.

Ah, the old "I never saw it myself so it must not be a real thing" argument.

Fresh Prince of Belle Aire, The Cosby Show, Family Matters were all black run shows and were loved and watched by everyone
They weren't "black run." They were "black starring." They were also all criticized even in their heyday for whitewashing, racial caricatures, and intraracial discrimination.

Google "light skinned women cosby show".

The only racism that exists today in excess is the hatred against white male Americans.

Nah, Blacks were plenty racist when I was growing up. Not ALL blacks, but I saw WAY more racist acts by blacks against whites than I ever saw whites against blacks. Black against Asian racism was extremely prevalent in middle and elementary school. The thing is government and society have somehow deemed it is OK for blacks to be racist.

Those are colorist black complaints, black on black type of things.

Right. Point being "black" is not in and of itself a "race". We all exist on a spectrum of skin tones that has nothing biologically to do with the socially constructed concept of "race". Species is the lowest level of scientific nomenclature. Race is just some shite we made up to justify some of us feeling good about ourselves.

But I still think it's worth pointing out that even the most universally popular shows starring black people, even at the height of the Clinton-era racial hegemony, were produced and written by white people.
