Most natural COVID antibodies are only good for about 90 days.

Well and I'd be curious about those with prior covid patients who DID get vaccinated.

Know 2 people who have had it twice (over an 18-month period for both). One in Houston and the other in London. Both took it seriously. Don't know variant differences.

Starting to think attending LSU football games are doomed. Politics + nature of virus.

In Israel (the 3rd most vaccinated country in the world) 53% of new cases are vaccinated, 43% unvaccinated, only 1% previously infected.

Natural immunity is proving to be superior to vaccine immunity.

My wife is in the home health industry. She’s had three patients in the last week on their 2 round of COVID. Two of whom were also vaccinated. All are 75+

Yes I had it June 2020 and again Feb 2021.

It appears people who have ig do not get immunity.

Nor will vaccination make you immune, only lessens the severity of subsequent infections

The Chinese germ warfare people engineered ig this way,

No. But there is some discussion about the protection of natural antibodies from one strain and how effective they will be against other strains. Perhaps your experience is relevant to that issue.

Probably partial protection across strains. You can get the flu twice in the same season since there are different strains (A and B) but you should have partial protection from the first go round.

You can still catch Covid after a vaccine or natural "immunity". The big thing is it should be way less severe the second time around. If you look at the spikes in Israel and the UK, case have shot up but hospitalizations are staying flat thanks in part to the vaccinations.

let’s not pretend long haul COVID isn’t a thing for a decent portion of people
Yeah, I have no idea what the population numbers are, but long haul Covid continues to kick my wife's arse 6+ months later. Symptoms are gradually getting better and thankfully she didn't have any comorbidity factors, but she's still on heart medication, missing much of her taste/smell, and coming back from what she describes as a brain fog. So, yeah, it's not the common cold--even for some folks who are in excellent health beforehand.

I think I once said on this board that it was possible to get covid twice and was downvoted to shreds.

I was replying to someone stating the vaccines were effective in stopping cases.

Israel's cases have gone from 25 per day to 750 per day over the past 3 weeks.

My wife had it in August of 2020. She was sick for about 3 days and Doc put her on hydroxychloroquine and she instantly got better. During that time, no one else in the house caught it. Fast forward to April of this year and my 15 year daughter old gets sick, tests negative twice for Covid and pretty much gets over it in a week with breathing treatments and antibiotics. I got sick right after she got better, tested negative twice with the swabs and progressively got sick enough to have to go to the E.R. There I tested positive through a blood test and by then already had bilateral pneumonia. Then my asthmatic 13 yr old son caught it and had also acquired pneumonia and had to be hospitalized for a week on oxygen. During the time of myself and 2 kids having covid, my wife didn't get it again. I'm thinking a combination of her antibodies, and her previously taking the hydroxychloroquine had something to do with it.

Stopping deaths and hospitalizations are what is important …. And getting 5G
We should all be like great American Patriot Donald Trump and get the lab created China Virus vaccine.

NY Slimes and Reuters say about 60% of Israel are vaccinated
