Nope. She is always skeptical of meds/vaccines. After this 2nd time, she wished she would have gotten the vaccine. Her first time wasn’t bad

Why? The kids have figured out how to trick the test into showing false positive by using soft drinks.

Why the frick did you get tested? Thanks for adding to the fear pron stats.

What interest would you have in advocating to manipulate the data to make it less accurate?

See, covid tests hit on the common head cold.

No shocker.

Covid is real... but not nearly as severe as they want you to believe.

Can we really stop with this narrative. I don’t mind saying that it tends to be more severe in certain segments of our population dependent on age and comorbidities. But let’s not pretend long haul COVID isn’t a thing for a decent portion of people. It’s not the common cold.

I've decided I will never get tested if given the option. I guess I would have to get tested if I'm admitted to a hospital (meaning a bed or ICU), but other than that, no.

So will she get vaccinated at this point after the suggested waiting period (is it 3 months?)??

Also, are they treating her at home as opposed to requiring a hospital stay? Hopefully no hospital for her.

Again, honestly curious, NOT being ugly in any way.

Guess the antibodies wore off?

Are you posting from the ICU?

If not, then why are you freaked out by this?

Vaccinated people are getting the variants.

It happens. However, it has been mild for those that have been vaccinated.

On another note...here is a preliminary study out of Israel. It is the ONLY one of its kind that I have seen, but it seems to be pretty enlightening:

quote:

Prelim Israeli data suggesting C19 convalescents faring better than vaxed? “Since 5/1, 72 who previously had C19 were infected again, accounting for 1% of new cases, while 3000 who were vaccinated have been infected — 40% of confirmed new cases”

Get well soon and don’t be a pussy.

there is some discussion about the protection of natural antibodies from one strain and how effective they will be against other strains.

Discussion...riiiiight.

I posted the only study that I have come come across. It is legit. frick “discussion.”

Saturday I woke up with a tickle in my through and over the week it progressed to the sniffles and a wet cough. Well I went to the Dr. to get some medicine. I don’t feel bad I figured it was a cold or allergies. Well it came back positive and I’m shocked.

So you went to the Dr. for a cold ? Geez, and you admit you "don't feel bad." Proof that this scary Delta is nothing more than fear porn from the media.

The big piece of data missing is the number of previous infected and number of vaccinated.
