I decided to spend a weekend in BC, visiting Cranbrook, Kimberley and going to one of my favorite provincial parks in southern British Columbia. I've done this trip several times in the last year.

On the way back down to the Roosville, I was selected for a random search. shite was nauseating... spent 30 minutes inside the customs office while the BP agents interrogated me and searched my vehicle. They also made me fill out a search selection form. I felt a little violated tbh.

Anyone else been through this before?

Don’t look like you’re hauling Mexicans across and they won’t stop you.

They showed up at my camp house one night when we were on the front porch drinking. Said they were looking for illegals that were on our property. We chatted with them a bit and got to fool around with their night vision but that was it.

Another not-so-subtle brag thread about you living in the PNW?

Nice bait and switch with the title...

Used to fish Flacon and Amistad a lot. They've checked me and all the compartments of my boat many times. Were cool tho.

Good deal

The most awkward moment today was a BP officer asking my buddy if he was on any drugs bc his eyes were dilated

To answer, then, yes I have. Worked in Harlingen, TX for a while and had to help get some stuff up and running at the Mexico plant about 30 mins across the border. Happens everyday to people who cross international borders.

Sorry you were "violated" pansy.

I did when arriving back in the country in DFW if that counts. They pulled me to the side and searched my bag. Gave me shite about having some VCD's then let me go.

Yep. Driving from Bellingham to Vancouver in my uncle's Jaguar at 19. I just figured that my age and the car had something to do with it.

Yep, had to get out of the car at the border check station at Laredo, the dog went through everything - car, luggage, personal search and found nothing. A total waste of time.

The responses in this thread are pitiful. He gives more than enough clues to know he's talking about the northern border in the first sentence of the post.
