Depends on the city/area. If you're in a large metro area the pickins will be a lot different than a small or mid-size town.
Just sheer numbers and acceptance of online dating, chicks claiming to be too busy for the bars, etc. etc.

$200 is a giant ripoff. Try free okcupid first, and then match. A lot of girls are on both. No other sites were worth a damn when I did it. This was in New Orleans

I met my Mrs on EHarmony. We married about 1.5 years after our first date, coming up on 3 years of marriage this summer and continue to be extremely happy as well as feel fortunate to have finally found one another.

My wife and I set my mother up with an account on eHarmony since she can barely operate a computer. The amount of questions you have to go through just get up and going was absolutely obnoxious. She wound up quickly nixing eHarmony for Match and OurTime.
