Dove hunting accident. Shot by another hunter at medium range. Not close enough to die, but close enough for an ER visit and about 30 pellets picked out from my back and arms.

They missed a few, and years later they are still there.

Same here. Get an X-ray of my face and dentist sees the shot. Still have about a dozen. Picked one out a few years ago. They move around a little.

Couple of times. One time I was bowhunting out of a climber on WMA during squirrel season. I could here something behind me but I thought it was a deer or armadillo. Apparently Mr. Squirrel hunter thought my elbow was a squirrel and shot me. Fortunately, the mosquitoes were terrible so I had long sleeves on. Received three bb's in the back of the arm and Mr. Squirrel hunter took off running. Another time while rabbit hunting. I was on a shell road buddy crept up too close and he shot the rabbit when it came in between us. Caught three ricochets in the leg. No fun.

Yes when I was 17. .22 pistol was sitting in my lap, I'm sitting on the tailgate after shooting some cans. My dumbass buddy grabs it and it fires right into my thigh at point blank. Bullet shattered on contact with the bone and tore the muscle up pretty good. Not a fun week.

You got really lucky that .22 didn’t bounce or a fragment didn’t break off and hit your femoral artery.

Took a .25 auto to the knee cap. Young guys sitting around a table drinking. Idiot was fiddling with his little pot metal pistol under the table and it went off.

I was so intoxicated I laughed about it at the time. The next morning I was not laughing and had to go to the E.R which turned into a police fiasco. Dude gave me the pistol because I told the police I shot myself on accident with my own weapon. Raven Arms Mp-25... absolute piece of shite. Still have it and pull it out every once in a while to thank god the shot went into my knee cap and not the twig and berries.
