I don’t remember who it was, but one thing f the posters on the outdoor board was almost killed in a deer hunting accident last year. He posted some pretty gnarled before and after pics. I am sure he will show up shortly....

Buddy was drunk and was throwing trash from his truck into a bonfire at a party we were at when we were in high school. One of the boxes he threw into the fire had a few shotgun shells in it and they cooked off. I got hit in the wrist and neck with some bird shot, and two other people including my drunk friend got their legs peppered. It was not a pleasurable experience by any means.

Dove hunting accident. Shot by another hunter at medium range. Not close enough to die, but close enough for an ER visit and about 30 pellets picked out from my back and arms.
They missed a few, and years later they are still there.

Yeah that guy got shot in the neck with a deer rifle. Amazing that guy survived, to say the least.

Buddy of mine unloaded with a 12 gauge into a big dirt mound and birdshot blew back and peppered me head to toe. Nothing permanent and walked away but was scary.

Dad and I were hunting wood ducks on the bayou a few years back. He was chasing a cripple and it swam between me and him. He shot it and had 4 stray bbs skip off the water, go through my pants and into my leg. Had to "pop" them out of my thigh like you would a pimple. That shite sucked.

well, I was hit in the forehead by a BB gun in close range, had to lie to my mother about why I was bleeding just above my right eye.
one of those moments where I thought God was looking after me....it was crazy because I remember seeing the BB coming right at me....comes so fast, you don't get time to react.
never liked Guns after that.
