I remember that like yesterday. He's very lucky to be alive.
To this date though I think he's the only person confirmed to be associated with the OT that was ever shot in Nola. Pretty remarkable

On by a BB gun. Was in a boat with friends who were wakeboarding and the boat got hit with a potato someone shot with a potato gun. If that potato would have hit on of us, could have done some serious damage.
Other than that, no. I know people who have been shot, a few of them died, I know two who didn't die. And I knew a man who shot and killed someone. He died several years ago, he was old, but when he was in his 20s he killed someone, spent some time in jail.

Was two young brothers. One has been convicted and in jail and the other trial is being constantly continued. This happened in April 2010

12 gauge blast to the right forearm. Didn't hurt at first until after I got to the hospital and I heard that everything was going to be ok, then I relaxed and it like a motherfricker.

All victims are my closest friends. I was at the house earlier that day. Oddly enough I was also a victim of armed robbery and had gun put to my head in a separate unrelated incident before this. The perp is serving 50 years because his brother was murdered by the victim in the robbery they committed after me. look up state of LA vs. darrius adams

Please take this with the innocence that it is asked, were drugs involved? Mistaken identity? Address in the wrong area?

Never got an answer why honestly. We we're 26 at time. House was in predominately black neighborhood and we were the white kids on block. Kids that broke down door were like 17 and 19 at time. Never have seen them in life and no affiliation. There was a family friend of someone who lived there over who was rumored to be fairly unsavory character who may have brought trouble but this was never confirmed. My robbery was random act of violence uptown while I walked a girl to her car leaving a bar

Friend over this past Thanksgiving just got his left middle finger shot by a .22.
Kid had his booger hook on a trigger and gave off a negligent discharge.
It was pretty serious damage; they saved the finger but the surgery was gnarly. Took bone out of his hip and then used skin from the neighboring finger to finish it off.
