Anybody know about the robbery that happened 9am on maple street, NOLA?

GF got a text from Tulane this morning and haven’t seen it pop up on the news yet. Here’s the alert

Uptown District Content Warning: The following narrative references an Armed Robbery
DATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE: Saturday, February 6, 2021, at about 9:00 AM
LOCATION: Intersection of Lowerline and Oak.
REPORTED OFFENSE: The New Orleans Police Department responded at an armed robbery in which one shot was fired in the direction of a non-affiliate during the crime, which happened near the intersection of Lowerline and Oak. No injuries were reported. The perpetrators ran in the direction of Broadway Street, followed by running towards S. Claiborne Avenue after the crime. The New Orleans Police Department has made the Tulane University Police Department aware of the ongoing investigation.
SUSPECT’S
DESCRIPTION: The perpetrators were described by the non-affiliate as the following: 1. black, male, 5’9’’ – 5’10’’, wearing all black and a beanie cap. Has a face tattoo and a tattoo on the right wrist. 2. Black, male, 5’9’’ – 5’10’’, wearing all black and a beanie cap.
INVESTIGATION ONGOING: If you have any information about these crimes, call TUPD at 504-865-5381 or NOPD at 504-821-2222.

I believe that means the shot was fired in a direction of a person not being currently robbed.

Couple of blocks from the Boot.
I’ve got a friend who yesterday asked me about what I thought of his daughter (no pics) attending potentially attending Tulane Law.
“She’ll be fine, it is great! Tulane is wonderful, the education she gets there will serve her well for a happy & fulfilled life. And the neighborhood is wonderful.”
Or something not anything like any of that...
She’s probably going to Vanderbilt
