The ice cream is awesome.

I did the due diligence for them a few years ago on going public. They were privately held and are in the mutli-billions regarding revenue.

They also own Red Barron's, Mama Rosa's, Frescetta, Tonys, Edwards, Pagoda, and Mrs SMiths to name a few.

I want to say they have red barron pizza and a few others

my aunt n uncle lived in boonies so they would get stuff, i remember the soda making machines they had back in the 80's.

There's still a truck over here on the W. side of ATL near the Bammer state line who delivers to all the little mom and pop Indian/Korean convenience stores. Ice cream, hot dogs, sandwich meat, eggs, butter, cheese, canned biscuits etc...

Guess it keeps them from making the drive to Sam's in Douglasville every week....

Never had Schwan's truck, but we used to get Charles' Chips delivered as a kid. Parents still use some of the old cans they came in. They were some good chips.

We were super poor growing up my first 10 years.

My father used to tell us that food was junk when we asked for it. Probably got tired of us whining about it and asking for it to be delivered.

Me and the brother used to get our kicks mooning the Schwans man when he drove up. Gooder, simpler times.

I remember I was bass fishing in a pond in Beau Chene and some other kid was there fishing too. This tard flagged down the Schwan man, bought an entire ice cream cake, then chunked it in the pond to "attract fish."

I wasn't aware fish liked ice cream? The turtles sure did appreciate it though.

We had a Schwans guy that came around to our office on a regular basis, and people here bought a lot of stuff. This went on for several years. Then, the guy got arrested for stealing from the company and after that, no replacement or anything ever came back. This was about five or six years ago.
