I remember Schwann's used to have this cheeseburger ring bread thing that you'd bake for like 45 minutes. 13 year old me would go to town on those things.

We bought from them when we lived in rural Alabama. Great-Great ice cream. As you said, a bit expensive. we also purchased a few meat products, but I can't remember what they were.

Maybe I could get a Schwan route to get me out of the house. They could pay me in Raspberry chocolate swirl ice cream. Eat drive and deliver. I could do that. How hard could it be?


Edited to add - he wife said we bought their cod fish patties. like a big 3 X 6 X 3/4 inch fish stick. Really good stuff.

Amazon prob bought them. I remember the fried Flounder filets. Delicious.

Not sure which one of my neighbors is getting the delivery but a Schwans truck goes past my house every Monday. It’s usually late - right around dusk - leads me to believe the driver is making a lot of stops.
