I have one. Exact year and model. Very reliable - economical - fun to drive - plenty of power. I recommend.

Good Cars. Drove a 2005 Mazda 3 for 10yrs with minimal problems.

Currently in a 2015 Mazda 6 with no issues.

Fun fact. The names are technically the Mazda Mazda6 and the Mazda Mazda3

I have a CX-9, 83k miles.. I've had zero problems mechanically.
Wife has a 2012** CX9 with 70K and the only problems* were a few recalls that they handled pretty well.

*And a few tires from hitting curbs, and never washing or vacuuming it and using it as a mobile storage unit etc

**That's the reason she isn't ever getting a new one as she abuses the old one and it been paid for for 5 years,

I drive a lot for work and most days I drive my wife’s old Mazda 3. I think it’s an 09. It’s got 189,000 miles on it and I’ve put it in the shop three times. First was for an AC compressor like 4 years ago and the other two have been within the last 10,000 miles.

It’s Japanese so it will be ok

I wouldn't say that about Mitsubishi cars. Their Tv's were good but it ended there. My first vcr back in 84 was a Mitsubishi; $900 junk pile.

I had a Mazda B2200 back in the mid 90’s. Loved that thing but it got totaled when a big rig changed lanes on top of me and PIT maneuvered me down I20.

I sold my cx7 2 years ago. It was an ‘11 with 190k miles. I only sold it because I travel a lot for work and wanted a vehicle with less miles. It was a solid vehicle.

I’ve got a 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback with 280,000 miles on it.
Love that car. It is a stick though so more fun.

I have the same. It's a great car that I bought when I was driving 45 miles each way to work. Good on gas, has enough pep to get me where I want to go, and handles well.

My only complaint is a bit of road noise, which I'm told was fixed in later models.

My wife had one. Garbage. I’ll never own another. It’s a cheap vehicle all around so people get excited about the price and don’t care about anything else.

2007 Mazda 3 owner here. Built in Japan. 193k miles with no major issues. Routine maintenance is very easy. I do all of my own maintenance and just gave it a tune up about 3 months ago which took all of about an hour to change plugs, belts, etc.

Looking to buy the wife a cx9 at the end of 2019 hopefully to replace her pos Jetta. I despise her Jetta.

This is likely no help whatsoever to you, but I come here to say I drive a 2002 B3000 and rolled over 354,000 miles today. Mechanical issues I have had other than routine belts, hoses, brakes, batteries, etc. are a broken valve spring (~$500) and a transmission ($1900). That's it. It needs a new front end and a paint job, but neither of those is happening. Been an awesome little truck.
