2012 CX9 as our family car. Got it with 4,700 miles on it in November of 2012. Will pass 100k early in 2019. A few recalls that Mazda handled. Other than that, just routine maintenance and tires.
Been a champ so far. About to make it's 4th trip to Orlando.
This year, Mazda made the jump to 3rd (behind Lexus and Toyota) in Consumer Reports car reliability by brand rankings. They must be doing something right.

We bought a Mazda 3 in 2010, handed it off to our daughter for college and bought a 2016 Mazda 6. No problem with either one. My wife drives the 6 daily. Will buy another Mazda when the time comes.

Mazda just finished 3rd behind Lexus and Toyota at Consumer Reports.
They've come a long way after splitting from Ford.
I have a Mazda 6 with a 6 speed MT for commuting. I haven't had any issues after 70k miles.

My best friend has a 2010-12ish Mazda3 solidly into the 100k mileage range these days. No issues.

Once upon a time.
Ford spun off Mazda during the 08 financial crisis. I think all ford remnants are gone by now.

I purchased a 2017 Mazda 6 last year. Have 16k on it and have been very happy so far. Great gas mileage, I average 31 mpg doing mostly highway commuting in some traffic.
I appreciate the styling and design.. it has a little character. Performance is solid, it won't ever be confused for an Audi, but the Skyactive engine gives me more than enough when merging or passing.

One of the best cars I’ve ever owned was a Ford Probe GT, which was just a Mazda with Ford badges. Can’t help with anything this millennium though, sorry.
