East Feliciana is on the rise but it has a good bit of smaller parcels for sale. Just have to look.
Just have to figure on schools if you have kids. Try crossing into W Feliciana or Zachary or Central depending on where you end up.

I know a Watson couple going through a divorce. Land will probably go for sale within the next 6 mo or so. 
I have a 100+ acre plot in Watson that didn't flood last year but the Corps says is covered (~1/3) with wetlands.

The Pride / Baywood area and out towards Bluff Creek has some decent places. Not too far from the EBR line. If his wife works in St.Fran then it’d be a pretty long commute

Take a look in SW Miss. You can get a lot for your money. You can count on private schools but that’s the situation in East Feliciana also.

I know someone that has several hundred acres for sale or will be for sale soon on Hwy 63 outside of Clinton; it can be sold in smaller parcels.
