State police said I was going 81 in a 60. Certain they caught the wrong person because a car was speeding past me when he shot radar. My friend in the car agrees that I was going around 65.
Have to appear in court in Hahnville to fight it.

What is it worth to you?
They price tickets just enough that it isn't worth your time to fight them.
Just call or go online and take the test/program for PTI so it stays off your record.

Call and get a court date, then call back and get it moved, then do it again. You might get lost in the shuffle and the cop who gave you the ticket won't show up the day that go to court. Then you have a better chance of beating it.

Are you planning to fight a speeding ticket by going to court and saying you were speeding?

Do you have Life360?
It logs your speed.

Spot on.
Judges and cops give 0 fricks.
Just a tax to collect.

If it makes you feel any better, that definitely happens, though the cops would never admit the possibility.
I’ve been the guilty beneficiary of it a time or two.
