Anybody have a friend or loved one who was permanently broken by the Covid BS?

I know a few. Utterly changed them. Not because they or someone they loved got sick or died. They’re just mentally damaged, paranoid, fearful, and even hateful of others because they disagree with them on their vaccine stance, etc. This has got to be a bigger issue than is being ‘reported’, and it’s really sad to watch. I’m not sure it’s fixable, either, since the beliefs and emotions are so deeply held, and a reasonable conversation on the topic is impossible without getting them all emotional and angry over the slightest challenge to their world view.

We've had to fire a couple. It's amazing how bad it made the workforce

NIH came to visit me and wore a mask on a hike last week.

Yes. I know several. It depresses the hell out of me too. It's like they've joined a cult.

I still laugh that Howard Stern is still broadcasting from his basement. Trump and Covid broke him.

well it is an issue on both sides really. the issue is neither side of the aisle is willing to have an open discussion - it is simply ridicule towards both sides.

honestly as someone that doesn't give a shite either way, reading about it and seeing it is exhausting.

Hell if I had his house I might not want to leave either.

Looks to me like only one side isn't willing to have an open discussion, because the facts never aligned with the policy positions they were supporting.

I've had loved ones die, and watched them suffer for weeks. So it's not really been "BS" to me.

Do I go out in masks? Nah..I do wash my hands more often though.

I still see people riding around in a car, alone, wearing a mask. I can't wrap my head around it.

Yes. I have friends (well not friends anymore) that refuse to wear masks and get vaccinated and call themselves “purebloods”. They refuse to acknowledge that we’re living in the deadliest pandemic in history

one of my best friends was over yesterday with an N95 and is having a near panic attack because he hasn't caught it yet.

i've had it like 16x now.

at some point you're going to get it but you can't let it cripple you.

Ahhh, the language of 'open discussion' for those wanting to control which discussions are pertinent.

You are the answer. We knew it wasn't transmitted on surfaces more than two years ago. And yet, here ... you ... are...
