They make these hemorrhoid ice packs that are very helpful. They pretty much numb your butthole and reduce the swelling. They look like a frozen Twinkie. Sit on those for a couple days.

I used to get occasional flareups but just the uncomfortable sort, not the unbearable pain sort. I think mine were meth related because it hasn't happened in years.

the pain from them can be intense. it feels like a big, hairy, muscled arm comes out of the toilet with a pirate's dirk and sticks it right in your arse hole.

Your friend is a puss. I had a hemorrhoid the size of a marble cut out and raced motocross the next day. Granted, I stood up on the bike a lot more than usual, so it actually improved my riding style.

Go to Vitaman World and get some Rutin. It's herbal and comes in pill form. Take 3 a day and it'll knock it out. I had a bad one two summers ago. Tried Prep H, Witch Hazel, even Apple Cider Vinegar. After a week I couldn't take it anymore. My BIL had some of this Rutin and said it'd knock it right out which it did. Anytime I feel one coming in I take a pill or two for a few days and no more hemmorrhoid.

Had them two times when I was 20 or 21 in a 4-5 month span. Had them cut out both times. Doc brings in an entire audience. I let them know that I will most likely pass out and that it's no biggie.
Thought for sure I was looking at that happening every year for the rest of my life. It's been 3-4 years now and I haven't had an issue since thankfully.
