I think this chick I used to date had a hemorrhoid. I just licked around it. She said it was a "skin tag", whatever the frick that means. Needless to say, we are not together anymore.

Hate to that guy here but hemorrhoids are an early sign of liver disease/failure

If you've ever lifted heavy weights, you're almost guaranteed to have hemorrhoids. They're asymptomatic for most people.

If you catch a thrombosed one (the unbearable pain will be your clue) early enough, a surgeon can slice that bad boy open for you and massively relieve the pain. You're gonna have an audience though because the surgeons gonna need two assistants, one spreading each cheek, so the surgeon can get in there and get to slicing. It has to be done the first day or so after it goes all jihad on you though. At a certain point the recovery from the scalpel to the starfish would last longer than the remainder of the inflammation. Oh yeah, the surgeon is definitely going to jam a hypodermic needle full of lidocaine right into your starfish, so make sure you're committed.

If it is an external one, pop the fricker like a zit. The pain and smell is god awful, but the immediate relief is well worth it. He will need to pack his rectum with gauze for 12 hours, but hopefully his blood cells clog and he's back to normal in no time.

Yeah, when it comes to elements of my circulatory system, I like to do DIY treatments where I just hope for the best that the bleeding stops.
