I like desktop so I can see avatars. Helps me remember who people are.
I wish small avatars were worked into mobile mode, but I don’t miss them nearly enough to justify all the zooming and panning I’d have to do in desktop mode.

I’ve been using mobile as long as I can remember. I just switched over to desktop. Everything is so tiny.
And posting images is awkward.

I did in the past but the mobile version is a lot better than it used to be

You’re not alone. I’ve always used desktop mode.

It's unreadable in desktop while on phone. It's a shame because I want to see people's avatars but can't in mobile.

Yes. I hate the mobile view

Kinda. Circus Child punches away at the keyboard while Chicken pecks at his head. It's more of a team effort.

If you have an iPhone and prefer the desktop view, hit the icon in the search bar that has Box and 2 lines under it. Then hit the bigger A to make the text easier to read.

dude that’s nuts. you’re on what type of phone.
Some type of iPhone, I have no clue what number or style
I do a lot of tap-zooming. I know it’s inefficient but damn, it might be too late for me to adapt

Desktop mode is FAR superior on your phone

I guess I must be on desktop view on my phone since the website looks exactly the same to me on mobile as it does on desktop.
So I have 3 questions here
1. How do you tell if you’re on desktop or mobile view?
2. How can you switch modes?
3. Assuming that I’m in desktop mode, what does mobile view look like?

If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, you’ll see a “View in: Desktop” or “View in: Mobile” hyperlink option to click on
Whichever one you see, you’re in the other one
**that should answer all your questions at once!

Apparently I actually was in mobile view?
Anyway, I found the desktop mode to be awful and the print to be so tiny. So I quickly went back to mobile. The worst thing about my 10 seconds in desktop view was how I had to squint to find the button to go back to mobile view.
I guess the print doesn’t appear that small when you’re actually on a desktop since desktops are obviously a lot bigger than phones are. But when you have small print on a small device, it’s almost impossible to read.

It’s never too late to change.
You just have to want it enough.

The ads in the right margin make the text unbearably small in desktop. Too bad though as I like being able to see avatars.
