Don't overthink it.

It's a boat.

I’ve got a question for you. Since you have never driven a boat, I’m assuming that also means you have never launched one? Or pulled one out of a lake? And a 24 footer at that. This could really get interesting. Would you video it please?

Best advice I can give you is to remember, there are no brakes. Rev or fwd only and if used correctly they can provide some braking.

Sounds like he rented from a marina, docking should be fun to watch

- If you have a kid younger than 13 on board, who doesn't have a life jacket on.. And you tell them that if the game warden stops us, to tell them that they are 13.. They will likely accidently tell them that they are 11 and a half (or however old they are) and you will get a ticket.

But seriously, take proper safety measures. It might not be cool, but it's better than being seriously injured... Or dead.

And tell everyone on board to throw their fricking trash in a trash bag that you will have available for them instead of throwing it in the water way.

Be responsible.

Go drive it around a little before you let people on board, to get the handle of it first.

One PFD per three passengers . . . .
Kind of like the Titanic lifeboat to passenger ratio then?

Usually they just have you pull up to their fueling dock and will dock it properly themselves with some of their own crew.

so why exactly are you renting a boat on a bachelor party trip if you have no idea how to drive one? I couldn't think of a worse time to learn how to boat

Seriously. Don't let kids (or adults) swim near the back of the boat if you have an on board generator running. People die of carbon monoxide poisoning almost every Summer at Lake Powell (a place that has thousands of House boats/Party boats).
