This reminds me of the poor Jehovah's Witness kids who had to go the library and miss all the holiday and birthday parties in school.
Let the poor kids have some fun and not miss out on something the majority of the country does. It was fun as a kid making Santa cookies and trying to stay up all night to catch him.

That's what i'm saying when i say this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Anytime that is brought up you get idiots saying "This country wasn't founded on Christianity", well i'm not arguing that. I'm stating that our laws were written by Christian men, with Christian up bringing, therefore deciding what is right or wrong was based on their Christian beliefs. I'm not stating the founders were intending to set up a national religion. Only a fool would think so.

That isn't completely correct. Dry counties are a hold over from the prohibition days. Prohibition came about from the temperance movement where alcohol was seen as decaying the moral fabric of society. It was brought on largely by the women's suffrage movement and they fed off of each other. So as much as you can say "Morality" is the cause for dry counties, you can also blame women's rights for this as well.

Jewish kids get 8 days of presents. Why don't you celebrate that too, so your kids don't feel left out? You can celebrate Christmas and gift giving without Santa and Jesus. Hell it wasn't even the first holiday during that time of year to do just that.

I'm not sure how. We don't promote or reward forgiveness. That's a pretty big cornerstone of Christ's teachings.
Also, unlike the bible, U.S. law has a pretty harsh stance against rape.

We don't celebrate Jewish holidays because we are not Jewish. My kids don't feel left out because they do not know anyone who is Jewish.

That's a loaded question. We undoubtedly have religious laws in this country, I don't think that is open for debate. However, to suggest this country was founded on christian principals is a stretch. The Treaty of Tripoli states very clearly that the US is not a christian nation. I think Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, would all agree that our 1st amendment of our constitution, the freedom of speech, is not a basic christian belief.
