McD's Ebi Filet in Asia rocks.
Patty made of baby shrimp, breaded and deep fried with lettuce and 1000 Island. Sounds meh, but it's actually very good and is one of the most popular meals in Asia.
The seasoned mayo that comes with the fries in France is respectable too.
ETA I can't believe how few of you guys ventured off the regular menu.

I've eaten at McDonald's in Israel, Paris, Amsterdam and London.
In Amsterdam they call it a Royale with Cheese.

Not another country but I ate at one in Lewisburg WV. It was so nice and they even had fried oysters. Pretty cool.

I ate a a Burger King in South Korea in the late 90s. Not one of the burger offerings was beef. I’m pretty sure we settled on a Bulgogi burger. Which is supposed to be thin strips of beef. But I didn’t recognize that patty as anything resembling or tasting like cow.

Went to a KFC in Budapest after a long night out. Ten times better there.

Yes. I have in Thailand or Singapore. There's no super size there. The large fry is our small.

I went in The Philippines. The beef on the patties isn't quite the same, as its crappier and mixed with pork filling. There isn't much salt on the beef or the fries. They have spaghetti, chicken drumsticks and rice (IIRC) on the menu. The regular hamburgers have the Big Mac sauce on them instead of pickles, ketchup and mustard.
None of the restaurants, including McDonald's, have open fountain drink machines where refills are free.

I’ve had Mc D’s in many countries, but the only unique thing that I remember was the #1 was a McArabia in Oman.

I’ve been to a few in South East Asia. In Hong Kong they have a few interesting items on the menu including, twisty pasta, a spam and cheese burger, chicken drumsticks, curly fries, and sandwiches with Mac and cheese. Most are open 24 hrs.

Spain and New Zealand.
The burger meat in Spain was dry and awful.
We had breakfast in New Zealand and it was about the same as in the USA.
