I wish I had a bandmill but I don't have the room. I usually cut veneer at about 1/8" unless I am really trying to save wood.
I have a Minimax 24 and Minimax 20 both with Laguna power feeders and Driftmaster fences on them. Use a 1 3/4" carbide blade (Laguna Resaw King or Starrett Tri-Master) on the big saw and a 3/4" ultra-thin kerf spring steel blade on the smaller saw. It is the same blade stock Highland sells as the Kerf-Master but comes from an industrial supply in Ohio. They leave a smooth finish similar to the larger carbide blades, but don't waste as much wood. The downside is they dull quickly.
I love working with nice veneer.

Jk, dentist here.. good, natural veneers will be around $2,000/tooth give or take when it’s all said and done between the workup, treatment, and lab fees.
I wouldn’t do it unless I had really jacked up teeth

I don't understand all these influencers getting them. These are attractive, not poor young women. They can't possibly have had natural teeth that need veneers.
I thought veneers were for people whose teeth are not doing so great - either due to age or genetics or something.
