Been doing 22 hour fast per day. It’s surprisingly easy, it wasn’t even intentional. I went on a keto diet in the beginning of October, and I just haven’t been hungry.

Done it pretty religiously for the last three years - cup of coffee for breakfast, big salad at 11 am and smaller meal at 4 pm. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

I do the 16/8, only eating between 11:00-7:00. No carbs. Now if I could learn to appreciate black coffee I will have almost completely eliminated sugar. This is my struggle ..

What's funny is I never was much of a breakfast eater until I tried intermittent fasting. As soon as I made an official effort to not eat breakfast I started getting crazy hungry in the morning so I gave up on it.

I eat dinner between 5-6 most nights and lunch around 1-2 most days, but it’s not intentional necessarily. Just don’t care about snacks or breakfast and never did.

I’m well within the healthy range for my height, but would prefer to be closer to the low end since my torso is short. I just like wine too much.

Basically what I do. Sucks on the weekend when I drink til midnight, wake up with a hangover, then can’t eat til 4 the next day.

Also I workout early morning so I’m starving by 11

I do OMAD during the week. One meal a day and eat whatever the hell I want at 6:00. Lost 30 pounds in a year

Local roaster, fresh beans, grind at home immediately before brewing, use a method (I'm a french press fan) that you can actually control the water ratio, water temperature, and steep time.

Much more action on the Health board about this. I usually fast 16 and eat 8 so 11-7 (lunch and dinner). I do drink a straight black coffee pot everyday too so not 100% fast.

That combined with keto/no carbs/no sugar got me to bootcamp weight losing the 30 years of 45lbs I put on since bootcamp. I think if you're serious about maintaining or losing weight, then you need to incorporate all aspects including exercise. And suffer. There will be plenty of suffering.

Study after study shows that it has no effect arises in blood glucose. So, drink it plenty because it helps stave off hunger.

I started about a month ago. Down 9 lbs and like the lack of prepping. Now my coffee consumption has gone through the roof. I don’t eat till I get home from work. I may grab a snack when I walk in then eat dinner and sip a lil whiskey till bed.

My wife told me I was being unhealthy for years because I just skipped meals and didn't eat all day. Then all of the sudden it's healthy.

And after reading the thread I see I am not the only one.

I’ve tried it & lost a few pounds but I also drink Diet Dr. Pepper all day
While it’s 0 calories I don’t think you are supposed to drink diet drinks with IF
I want to try OMAD next month

I’ve been trying like every Community Coffee ever made; not sure if that’s considered local since it’s mass-produced. I keep going back to Cafe Special, but still I cringe. Maybe I’ll go pick up a bag of Reve. And I’ll try the whole bean as well. I use a pour over coffee maker, so I think I can control the ratios/temps/steep times pretty well with that. Do you recommend a certain roast for someone who does not enjoy bitterness? Lol

Your body reacts to the artificial sweetener in the diet drink the same way it would to a regular dr. Pepper and releases insulin. If you are fasting you can have water, tea or black coffee with no sweetener

I dont usually eat something until 4 or 5 pm then again around 8 or 9 pm. Then thats it. I'll drink coffee in the morning, water all day then a few mix drinks/beers in the afternoon/evenings. I've maintained my same weight for the past 6 or 7 years only gaining as much as 15-20 lbs and dropped about 10 lbs below my normal weight
