Any idea what this thing is? Antique brass scientific instrument

Another item I got from the estate sale. I paid $20.
I cannot figure it out.
It’s made by Culpeper Instruments. I don’t think this is old enough to be made by Edmund Culpeper, but most likely a company named after him.

It’s made of brass and measures 35” long.

I finally found it. I knew I would as soon as I posted this thread.

It’s a maritime barometer

I think the top half used to function as a barometer. Bottom half is obviously a thermometer.

Top is barometer, but missing the mercury tube to measure.

Its a weather station. The tube for the barometer is broken and missing.
