They are making a strong push to do business/office cleaning in this area. I've heard mixed reviews. Any first hand experience?

Don't do it. Price isn't everything.

Had success with Stratus cleaning (if you are in the NOLA area). We went round and round with Jani King and Jan Pro.

They suck. You’ll complain. A manager/supervisor will come with the crew. They’ll clean better for a few times. They’ll suck again. And it will continue to repeat that way.

They're independently owned and operated franchises so it depends on where you are.

That's what I was thinking. The quote seems to good to be true. Especially factoring in travel time since the franchise is an hour away. At the end of the day it's still minimum wage workers doing janitorial work, with all the problems that entails. I dont know how they're going to deliver on all they're promising.

Literally every janitorial service we’ve ever had. If someone knows of one that’s different please speak now.

They won't. They're just trying to sucker you in to a contract.

This. My neighbor owns one but cannot offer any insight into the services provided.

Do you trust Donte, Diamond’ and Shamisha with Jani King?

Or do you trust L’Davius, Aliyah and Precious with Jani-Care?

Because this is what it comes down to.

We've had 4 or 5 different companies. Gotten the same cleaning results with all of them. We've settled on the one that doesn't bring drama and that we can trust the most when we're not there.

We used Jani King at Loyola with no complaints. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a good job.

ETA: You just need to do a thorough walk through before they start services and be very clear on what you expect.

We used them for our office a few years ago and had no complaints.

My experience was not good. When it comes to cleaning services you are looking for the best of the worst. The employee pool they are hiring from is usually doing this job for a reason. It takes very good management to keep them on task. We had tried them out at my restaurant due to price. 5 people could not do the job that 1 person did before. My restaurant is a challenging job but should have been nothing for 5 people to take care. I am back to the one person who does it 7 days a week. He cares a lot more than others and the business we use has been on top of our other locations better than most. If you need a recommendation lmk.

My experience was with more south of the border.
They only came on weekends for us, boss showed up one Saturday to grab something & they had boyfriends & kids in the office hanging out.

Very typical. They cannot afford or find a baby sitter. They drag their kids along.

if you are in BR that franchise is very good and they have come through for me in some tough spots for 20 years. Excellent follow thru and they always call to make sure everything is as promised

Find some cash only short Central American ladies like normal red blooded Americans do through word of mouth.

Ours come every other Wednesday. Group of 3. They come loaded down with supplies blaring Mexican music out of a portable Bluetooth speaker. In and out in an hour and the place is spotless. The efficiency is something to behold.

Sounds like local Maid Pro - except the Maid "Pros" (that's what they call the maids) stole prescription meds the last time we allowed them in our house.
