Cold Case File No. 7: James Price Tomlinson.
Nearly four years after James Price Tomlinson disappeared, one detail continues to stand out—he left behind everything he would have needed to start over.
Tomlinson, 38 at the time, was last seen on August 11, 2022, just north of Ruston. Despite extensive searches, numerous interviews, and continued appeals to the public, no clear answers have emerged about what happened to him.
According to his family, his wallet, identification, phone, and even his shoes were all found—items they say he would not have willingly abandoned.
“James didn’t leave or just walk away,” his mother, Penny Otwell Skipper, said in earlier interviews. “I believe that somebody knows something.”

Lee Cutler was in my high school class and disappeared, and they never figured out what happened to him. The assumption is he committed suicide, but the case has been covered on investigation discovery and the like.

Anna Waters. January of 1973, my sophmore year in high school, 5 years old Anna Waters disapeared without a trace from the yard of her family's property in La Honda, unincorporated San Mateo County, California. The case went cold after a few years.
Fast forward to Spring of 2007, I was in the 29th year of my career with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office when my partner and I were given the go ahead to reopen the case.Over the course of the next few years we reviewed dozens of reports, followed up a 100 leads, dealt with dozens of people who "had secret information", including people who said that they had proof the Zodiac killed her to people who said they had proof that space aliens had taken her. We took DNA samples from women in 9 different states who thought they may be Anna Waters-none of which panned out. When my partner and I retired in 2012, there had been no new evidence nor new developments regarding the case. It is truly as if the earth just swallowed her up.

8/28/91 - Houma, LA
Adam “AJ” Breaux was last seen after 10:00pm in the vicinity of the 120 block of Bernard Street in Houma, LA, near the Easy Does It Club. His vehicle, a 1988 silver Ford Tempo, was located abandoned in Jim Bowie Park, which is across the street from where he was last seen. His wallet and checkbook were found locked inside the vehicle. Breaux has not been seen or heard from since.

The one I always remember in my hometown growing up was Kyle Clinkscales.
They drained several lakes near where I grew up and even had someone implicate the guy the lived next to our property.
Though they found the body eventually, it never made sense where it was because people drove over that place for years and somehow never saw the car.
"The cold case of Kyle Clinkscales, a 22-year-old Auburn University student from LaGrange, Georgia, was officially closed in April 2024 after his skeletal remains were identified. Clinkscales disappeared on January 27, 1976, after leaving a bar to drive back to college; his 1974 Ford Pinto was found submerged in an Alabama creek in December 2021 with his wallet and bones inside.
Although DNA testing in February 2023 confirmed the remains belonged to Clinkscales, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation medical examiner ruled the manner of death as "undetermined" due to inconclusive autopsy results. The case remains closed unless new information surfaces, leaving the question of whether he was murdered or died in an accident unresolved."
