When I was twelve my balls dropped. It wasn't in NOLA on NYE.

That's all I got from a personal standpoint.

Why would you want to be out at midnight in NOLA? You got a death wish or something?

They drop a ball-like thingamabob from Jax Brewery, then fireworks on the river. Great show. Stupidly crowded. I'd estimate hundreds of thousands. We did it once, not again. Too many people for me. Can't imagine Times Square

There is an ungodly amount of poon waiting to be opened up on NYE in New Orleans. Success rate is very high

Bullets will fall. There is always a lot of gunfire at midnight. Be inside somewhere.

Find a hotel or even better condominium rooftop to watch the fireworks. You could not pay me enough to go near Jax NYE night.

Don't they do a man wears dress down the street? Sounds like a ball drop event.

I'm done with New Orleans. The crime & bringing the statues down has done it for me. Sad. I'm a huge Saints fan.
