You've just decided that Biden is more popular based on your emotions?

That's definitely better.

Wait, isn't that what your counter is based on?

You're proving you don't know anything. Some of those states have the highest death rates in the world controlled for population size. Your cross state comparison is totally irrelevant based on demographics and climate alone LMFAO

Believer in science, more like believer in narrative and confirmation bias

I didn't say that, either. I said he's a step up from Hillary (if only barely), and that the left is much more enthusiastic this time. Are you going to argue either of these points, or just make up more bullshite to argue instead?

Prove it with data that it either happening or not happening in the United States right now. You don't get it. Those are academic studies in controlled environments. You look more foolish as you spew out your half knowledge on the subject.

My counter is based on the fact that Trump won the last election despite being "behind" in all of the polls.

Are you going to deny that conservatives would hate the EC if demographics happened to favor the left under this system?

That list is essentially a list of states with highest per capita death.

Overall or current rate? The last five days, Illinois has had 83 deaths, Louisiana has had 79. So about the same, but when you consider that Illinois has almost 3x the population, that death rate is a fraction.

And it stands to reason that the hardest hit would enact the highest restrictions, and we're now seeing the impact of those practices on death rate trend lines.

You don't need 70%.
Many are already immune.

Diamond princess 17% infected. In an area with like 200,000/SQ kilometer.

Sweden is like 30% infected.
There deaths are down 98% or so.

There's no way some inherant immunity isn't present.

Of course lower R0 after vaccine. Ppl are immune.
So slowing the spread would lead to fewer infections if a vaccine were created while there spread was being slowed, right?

Are you under the assumption that the right is just in a holding pattern or something?

Why would I bother arguing? Your opinion is amusing.

I agree that being forced to wear these in public is incredibly stupid.

But if you are going to go through the trouble of wearing a mask at all, why not attempt to use that that offers some protection?

You have literally added zero actual data to this discussion, and refuses to acknowledge or accept any data anyone else posts, simply dismissing it with wild and unfounded opinions. So I'll gloss over your stuff moving forward.

Yes, of course.

However, at best(highly unlikely) that's 6 months out at absolute earliest.

In 6 months we'll be at herd status anyways.

Economy will be fricked.
Kids uneducated.
Alcoholism up.
Depression.
Etc

Even in the best scenario.
It isn't near worth it.

I'm sorry that it bothers you. The dude is making statements of fact about future events in politics.

That's about as amusing as it gets.

I'm not sure how that qualifies as a snowflake moment. I'm literally saying that this continued situation is damaging trump's chances at re-election even further. The people who want him to win will cost him the election.

Of course, this is my prediction, and we'll see

I'm under the assumption that a lot of Trump votes in 2016 were really "not Hillary" votes. Do you disagree? I am also under the assumption that a significant portion of dems stayed home because Hillary had it "in the bag". Do you disagree?

no, we're not. It's all political at this point. There is absolutely nothing credible anywhere about this virus.

We go from flatten the curve to slow the spread to if it prevents just on death

Labs are only forwarding information about positive test results and blaming motorcycle deaths on COVID-19. I'm looking at you, Florida

People who don't show for a COVID test are presumed positive and reported as positive in their state numbers.

There is way too much virus frickery going on. And EVERYTHING is done through a political lens.

You want people to comply with things that actually impact public health, stop with the frickery and give actual, true and verified information.
