This is much easier to do four months later. Couple that with China frickery and RESIST and the fact that this is a novel virus, and no one, even the much-loved and lauded Biden could have predicted anything or prevented even anything.

Though I'm no virologist, it looks like the states doing the best now, were part of the initial infections and the virus has slowly moved west to larger metro areas and even more slowly to rural areas. Also seems like after a huge initial impact, the virus almost burns itself out.

All that we truly know is that population density and underlying health is a factor. There isn't even a correlation between healthy/unhealthy states. The virus is going to roll through your state at different times and will kill the people it's going to kill, the old and the unhealthy. No policy has proven efficacy no matter how many times you repeat it. It is spreading and you will not stop it.

The increase in testing in the U.S. has been dramatic but fairly linear since April. The increase in cases over the last few weeks has not been linear.

It's not hard at all to find tons of people who, like you, didn't vote in 2016 and who strongly support Biden. Obviously, this anecdotal information is flawed like polls, but it seems unlikely that lots of people who *did* vote for Hillary are going to vote for Trump this time, wouldn't you say?
