Hillary, one of the least likable people on the planet, got millions more votes than Trump. Biden is only a slight step up, but a step up nonetheless. Trump isn't going to get as many "not-Hillary" votes this time around, plus he is up against a much less complacent bunch of liberal voters.

The only reason Trump stands a chance is because the Dems are stupidly running with Biden.

elying largely on opinion polls, election forecasters put Clinton’s chance of winning at anywhere from 70% to as high as 99%, and pegged her as the heavy favorite to win a number of states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin that in the end were taken by Trump.

Keep relying on those polls.

Sorry baw, I'm consistently floored at how willfully ignorant people are being about this. I want some fricking football and a bunch of idiots are making that less of a likelihood every day because they think they know better than the experts, medical professionals, etc.

Can you please enlighten us on the top secret data you have proving that 1) there is a irregularly large population that is not wearing masks in compliance of their municpalities guidance 2) That group is 100% of one political party and 3) They are spreading the virus at above average rates and thus causing the spike.

Thanks for your guidance

And Trump is not going to have a lot of positive trends to point to. This situation is 180 degrees different from when he ran for his first term. Anyone who feels like he's going to coast to a victory may have a surprise coming. He's given the democrats a shitload of content to use against him.

And I'll say this, he was the least objectionable/fricking terrifying of the options. Can you imagine a Bernie Sanders presidency?

That's not now the saying goes. But aside from that...do you call everyone who follows recommended guidance, that is shown to have a positive impact a sheep? It's such a weird flex.

Unless this virus is totally eradicated it doesn't matter.

The moment you go back to prior behavior the virus spreads again.

We still haven't eradicated Polio after 65 or so years of vaccines.

Herd immunity through vaccines or infection is only option.

Lots of the US is nearing herd status.

Just shelter vulnerable and finish it off.

interesting. At the exact same rate?

So there is no difference post vaccine than pre-vaccine?

Link?

What is the timeline on this? Is there any scientific evidence to support it? Sounds good to me if so.

Is it weird the guy slinging insults about large portions of the population he doesn't live in can't prove why everybody's so ignorant with anything but his emotions?

Look at NYC, Michigan etc

Deaths are way TF down.

Massachusetts has had days with zero deaths.

Even if everyone wore actual surgical masks if there wasn't serious immunity you'd see more carnage.

Look up the deaths charts for Spain, Sweden, Germany, France etc all the same.

All petered out.
All at like 5% of peak death rate.
