The towns located on the east side of the parish are busting at the seams with people moving there but D'ville is losing population. I see it in the older people in Gonzales that knew plenty of people, but now with the influx of people and soon to be 4 major high schools, East AP feels like a suburb of Baton Rouge.

Let's just pretend a kid from St Amant wasn't shot last year (iirc) after the STA vs EA game.

There are places on the East side that are just as bad for getting robbed or shot as Dville.

AP traffic absolutely sucks with all the people that have moved in and family lands cleared to build DR Horton subdivisions on 14ft wide roads that are eroding into the ditch.

There's nothing fancy about Dville (esp since Chefs and Chuck Lee's closed lol), but to act like there are no redeeming qualities, or one can't have a quiet life there is absurd.
