Another reason I hate people: The corrupt City of Gretna and their cameras

Just got a love note in the mail. I got a ticket from one of their little traffic cameras. 31 in a 25. $120 for my trouble.
I don't disparage the generally good people of Gretna. My son lives in Old Gretna. But this fricking shithole city government -- and every other shithole municipality that uses traffic cameras to RAPE the citizenry -- are a fricking cum stain on humanity. I hope every single person in the city administration dies. And I don't want it to be a quick death. I want them to die of AIDS or some kind of flesh eating virus that slowly consumes them and makes them suffer beyond what they are capable of imagining. Perhaps they could be tortured and have various body parts removed with a dull knife, and they could be forced to eat their own flesh as they bleed out. I dunno. Open to ideas.

I owe $175 and I was going 1 over. Now thats also because i have a late charge on it. But im not paying another one of those fricking things. just make sure im always parked in the driveway so i dont get booted or towed.

And if anything it should not be that high for a camera ticket and only that much over.

dont pay it. Got a couple a few years ago and never paid them. Didnt stop me from getting license renewed and didnt stop me from getting new license when I moved addresses. Nver going back to Greatna so not worried about getting booted at the mall parking lot

I believe if you don't pay on the ticket in Gretna, they will flag your license.

If you don't park in the city much I wouldn't worry about it. All they can do is boot your car. No repercussions from the law for not paying them. But I do have a simple solution if you do park in the city after getting a ticket. Just "lose" the license plate and get a new one. The cost for a replacement is 36 bucks compared to the price of the ticket. The system for booting registers your plate number. Once the old one is "lost" and replaced your slate is wiped clean. Each ticket you get, wash, rinse, and repeat. Screw this over governing municipalities trying to milk us for every dime. Here's a link for your replacement plate Lol. Hope this helps.

Unless something changed recently, the only Parish that enforces camera tickets is Orleans.

I received 2 camera tickets in Gretna and did not pay. They tried to flag them on my credit report. I disputed the amount and it disappeared. No consequences.

Gretna Blvd. is the best. Everybody goes about 3 mph down that street because of all the cameras hiding in different spots. And you know the cocksuckers that put those in place never pay tickets when they get them.
