Years ago there was a documentary movie about porn called Hot Girls Wanted. There's a scene that I'll never forget, because it's one of those little moments of total truth about human nature that you get from time to time. The dirtbag porn agent is on his laptop taking out ads offering free plane tickets to Miami, his home base, for aspiring porn starlets. He's talking to the cameraman (or woman) telling them that it's a guaranteed business, because of the girls themselves:

That’s why you should start to begin with. It’s a dark industry. It’s kind of messed up if the girl you’re jerking to may have already be dead or is going to die one day from OD or suicide.
