Really? It's noticeable in the OKC area right now. Definitely got dimmer

Here in Granbury we're about a 100 miles east of full coverage. Now, at noon, the sun appears to be a thin crescent. Interestingly, as coverage approached maximum, the temperature dropped about two degrees.

Make sure to drive into the totality path next April or you’ll be underwhelmed again. It’s something special to see.

Just past maximum coverage in my area. Yes, it looked like outside was tinted.

Time to pick up the glasses and filter till next April.

Then it will be awhile before we get another one.

There are major partials in 2045, 2052, 2071, and 2077 in my area. The one I want to see will be in 2078, but I will be 97. So either I will be in a grave or in depends when that one happens.

Been hanging out in a beautiful secluded spot in FW with my boys and watching it. Very cool. We have glasses and have been watching it move across. Noticeably darker/tinted and cooler near the peak too.

Pretty noticeable south of Austin.

Way darker than it should have been that time of day. Did the pinhole viewing method with a paper plate and only a little sliver of the sun was visible.

I was in the path of totality for the 2017 eclipse and it was incredible. Looking forward to next year.

Eta
Didn't get the full Johnny Cash in North Houston, but the thumbnail rotated around the moon clockwise if you watched for a little bit starting at peak.

I bought the glasses for a trip next April, but this one was pretty cool in the BR area. Sun looked like a crescent at the top.

Bud was set up near kerrville with a small scope and h-alpha filters. Anxious to see his shots.

Love the shadows under the trees taking the shape of the eclipse.

The sun coverage was full with the ring of fire very evident using the magic glasses in corpus christi. It was amazing how much light was still observed. The birds all went hush and in the distance the dogs were howling.

Very weird

I’ve been outside all day and my wife and daughter came outside a little after noon and said goodbye, they were going shopping, and said something like, “why is it so dark out here, something doesn’t seem right”

I didn’t even notice but they did, apparently it was happening the whole time I was doing yard work and had no idea.
