I always wondered what the origin of the Trebek/Connery hostility was all about. Did SNL just invent it?

OP just reminded me of an episode from about a month ago. I forget what the "answer" was, but it involved racial mixtures and the "question" was octoroon. No one got it right, but they may have been worried about answering that one. No one has any idea what words are kosher and what can get you cancelled.

It was just a parody of Celebrity Jeopardy! and how much they dumb it down for retards like Wolf Blitzer. The Connery thing just took off.

Trebek once said Will Ferrell was a lot more patient than he was. If he had guests like that in real life he would lose his temper.

I used to love Jeopardy but haven't watched it in ages. I gave it a go with that chick from "The Big Bang Theory" and that Ken guy who won a lot of money years ago, but after seeing way too many butt-ugly obvious trannies as contestants I quit.
That show has gone woke and they seem to be sticking to it from some of the comments in this thread.
