Based upon what i have gleaned about the origin of many original black names it could all come down the the fact that babymama ate and craved a lot of Szechuan Chicken while pregnant.
They like the sound of it, then change the spelling to suit them and voila! You have a babyname
Wife does genealogy research and so is interested in how and unusual names are created. She knew of a lil girl named Tiaramasue- named after her mamas favorite dessert while pregnant. So the above theory about szechaun chicken is her opinion and i agree.
