Who taught these dumb mfers to ask for a supervisor. Is that the equivalent of a Karen asking for the manager.

It's worse. Asking for a supervisor is basically telling the officer on the scene that you intend to unnecessarily escalate this situation and the supervisor will arrive assuming you have already done so. It doesn't make anything better because the supervisor is siding with the other cops 100 out of 100 times

I would say more like 95/100

There are lots of videos from guys like audit the audit showing supervisors correcting the initial responders who are breaking the law.

This woman is crazy. Prob tried calling her husband and he said I don't know her. People constantly trying to get the cops to jump start something bigger. I swear I would have 1 min of patience with people like this. I'm not cut out to be a cop bc I'm not gonna want to have my patience tried by a Karen or Chiquita.

Could the LEO have retained the citation in his hand? Should the LEO have retained the citation in his hand? Is it the proper procedure to retain the citation if it's refused? Is it the proper procedure to backhand the citation into the driver's lap when it's refused? What did the LEO think was going to happen when he tossed the citation into an agitated citizen's lap who had already refused the citation? Why did the LEO backhand the citation into the driver's lap after it was refused? Would the littering and arrest for littering have been avoided if he had retained the citation in his hand?

A lot of criticism from someone who’s likely never done a job with a similar level duress. aka a leftist keyboard warrior.

bottom line: she got what she deserved. learn to comply.

If I'm being honest here, I do have to agree that the cop is the one who escalated the situation by wanting to arrest her over littering. She was being an entitled bitch looking for a reason to sue, but the cop reacted instead of responded. Not saying she's innocent, because I can only imagine the attitude she was giving him before the video lol.

As per usual, there were off ramps for both sides

I don’t know the jurisdiction here but refusing the ticket, which amounts to refusing a summons to appear in court, sure can get you taken down to the jail.

In this case was her littering worth a wrestling match in the car to prove you are the authority? Probably a risky as all hell situation for both sides to play chicken with over clashing egos.

She was a horrific example of humanity. He was likely better walking away instead of trying to win the exchange. He didn’t end up teaching her anything, didn’t protect the community, and put himself in a very dangerous spot in the process.

Easy junior. It's a legitimate question.
Sorry. You're right. I apologize for my curt and demeaning response to your question. I sincerely regret my behavior. I hope you have a wonderful evening and a very enjoyable weekend.

That’s probably what he should have done. Then if she refuses to accept the second ticket, the court will issue a bench warrant for her arrest for two violations once she doesn’t show up b/c she won’t know the court date. Cop should have explained that to her, that it doesn’t magically go away. Then she has to go to jail next time she gets pulled over.

No doubt she was acting like a count the entire time and he had enough.

Since the stop was over when he gave her the papers. Whether she keeps them in the car or outside the car isn't relevant to the stop at that point. The cop should have walked away. His job was done at that point. Everyone was an arse in this and the taxpayers are going to have to cover a settlement most likely.

What a dumb take on things. So you want the pussification of America to continue and pick up speed?
Allowing morons to act like this without consequences simply breeds more and more extreme behavior. It causes exactly what it is designed to prevent.
What you call de-escalation, she and her tribe see as weakness. And that perception? Needs to be checked.

Do you think he stopped her from acting like a frick up?

You wouldn’t have seen this video if she wasn’t every bit as big if not an even bigger frick up now

In all seriousness, an arrest can ruin your life either temporarily or permnenantly. You can loose your job, then your income and your sense of peace. If you have kids, it's even worse.
I can't wrap my head around around the fact that idiots are willing to throw their life away like that.

I agree to disagree.
If that woman has a bench warrant, she isn't stopping for the cops the next time (why would she?).

She would flee and endanger other drivers around her.

I was serious about her needing a pit maneuver the next time.

The arse clowns that act like this need to go back to their homeland (even if they were born here) to learn the error of their ways.

This country has way too many out of control people in it. I moved south to get away from cold and snow; now I have to contend with that demographic. I think this is worse.
