A positive for the house: off street parking. I don't see a gate keeping locals from visiting the back yard pool, but surely there is one. A tall one with broken glass on the top?
Besides the usual, she has to be paying a pool company to maintain that pool (and S&WB loves her paying each month for all that water). And just keeping the plants alive takes an additional person. Those pots dry out fast in the summer.
She may have gotten an estimate on painting the exterior and decided to bail out before it showed that a repaint was needed. Or she got tired of the color and found that the colors she wanted aren't allowed by the Vieux Carre folks.
