The truly sad statistic is the number of your ilk still thieving oxygen and wasting resources.

Actually the sad statistic is all of the deaths caused by you fricktards arming the shitheads in this country. Instead of being safe gun owners, you just carry them around like it's the wild west, then are confused when some one steels them from your vehicle. (Mah guns)

How fricking hard is it to have a small safe welded into your trunk, or even have a secret compartment made to hide them.

Nope, instead you put them in a locked case(LOLOLOL), and they are stolen, and become residents worst nightmare.

I don't care how many guns, or even what caliber gun you own, but for fricks sake, stop arming the criminals. They aren't killing people with guns they bought, they are killing people with guns you and your ilk have bought.

I guess congrats for doing your part to continue those Murder numbers, and maybe try to do a little better protecting your weapons, so others aren't killed by them?

What part of this are you too stupid to read and comprehend. I even put in bold in the OP.

The report also noted that in a 25 year period between 1993 and 2017, the violent crime rate has dropped by 48.6 percent while firearms-related accidents have decreased by 68 percent.

Yep! I lost everything but one .25 caliber semi-auto in a similar accident. Damn shame.

Lost my AK-47 the same way, but that's WASR under the bridge now.

Gun obsession is truly weird. But if your thing is to collect things that collect dust, that’s your thing.

Wrong. The Constitution is a document designed to restrict the government it creates. It’s design is to prohibit government from usurping the rights of the people it governs.

There are numerous utopic socialist/communist nations where weapons aren't allowed. Pick one, any one and Bamarep will spring for the plane ticket. Caveat is you have to renounce your citizenship when you get there and NEVER come back.

An armed citizenry has been part of this county since it's inception. Hell, without them we're still bowing to the Crown in GB. It's literally the SECOND thing the Founders wrote into our Constitution.

Don't like it? Get the frick out. I'll spring for the ride.

Man, the only sad part of this is that I only own one of guns and only 1000 of those rounds. I would like to get some more because the rest of mine were lost at sea in a boating accident.

I'll take the bait.

I feel i have the duty and obligation to protect myself, my family and my home by any means that is constitutionally protected. I own guns and I know how to use them. I don't use them to commit crimes and I don't seek out to use them but I will when I feel I need to.

So it’s gun owners fault that their are thieves? It’s our fault that people steal and murder with them? GTFO

Why the frick do I have to alter my way of life because of scumbags? I get that people should be more responsible with securing their firearms when it comes to toddlers and kids getting access and having accidents but I’m not for one fricking second going to feel bad because some a-hole can’t stop himself from breaking into property that doesn’t belong to him by stepping on to property that doesn’t belong to him to take ownership of something that doesn’t belong to him and does something bad with it.

Rounds of ammo seems incredibly low. Only 19 rounds per gun owned? That has to be incorrect

If we were lucky, these people would take delivery of said property 230 grains at a time at 900 fps.

That 423 M guns is from 1986 on, how many guns were in America before that date?
I'd like to know where all the old ones went - the Winchester '76, the trapdoor Springfields, etc. My guess is scrap drives during the World Wars. But to read the sources from back in the period, they were everywhere at one point.
